New career opportunity: Project Manager, Measurement and Analytics

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to handle the overall management of a key client-focused suite of offerings. This position will be responsible for the managing the engagements under the Measurement and Analytics group, and specifically ensuring that project deliverables are on time, within budget and within the project scope. The project requires interaction with external clients, to prepare clients for implementation of our various measurement tools on an individual basis.

This position can be located in either Toronto or Calgary.

Responsibilities:
Integrated project management and reporting

  • Develop and maintain an integrated project tracking method to coordinate the delivery and reporting for all measurement and analytics products.
  • Provide insight on integrated tracking for clients with multiple engagements
  • Contribute to development of business requirements for technical design of integrated reporting
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Maintain quarterly reporting for all Measurement & Analytics products for the Leadership Team.

Specific measurement tools: Diversity Census Tool and Inclusion Survey (DCIT); Employer Inclusivity Index (EII), Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI)

  • Overall management of project scope and objectives for each client, involving all relevant stakeholders and technical components.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external clients, third parties, and vendors.
  • Ensure the project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Coordinate the activities of internal resources and third parties to ensure flawless execution of the project (project resources may be based in more than one location)
  • Manage any changes to the project scope, timeline, and budget using appropriate verification techniques
  • Report and escalate any issues to management as needed

Diversity by the Numbers Industry Initiatives (DBTN):

All of the responsibilities above are included, plus:

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track the progress of each Industry in the DBTN project.
  • Support communication efforts to increase the number of participants in each Industry initiative.
  • Contribute to development of business requirements for technical design of integrated reporting
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Maintain quarterly reporting for all Measurement & Analytics products for the Leadership Team.

This position requires a candidate who has excellent management and communication skills, is organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications (Required):

Technical Skills and Education:

  • A post-secondary degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or Business Administration, or 7+ years related work experience.
  • Microsoft Project proficiency and CAPM certification.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in similar project management role/capacity in a Business, Consulting, Education, or Information Technology sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)

Non-Technical Skills:

  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in handling confidential data while interacting with management, staff, clients, and third parties.
  • Ability to work independently, with limited supervision.

Qualifications (Optional):

The following qualifications are not required but would be an asset.

  • Working knowledge of French and/or Spanish.
  • Understanding of workplace diversity and inclusion.
