Employer Equity Practitioner’s Group: Virtual Meeting

This information-sharing and networking group is for those involved in employment equity compliance. The Employment Equity Practitioners Group meets online three times a year. Members will identify topics for ongoing learning and discussion. Each CCDI Employer Partner may identify up to two staff members to participate at NO ADDITIONAL COST – another benefit of being an Employer Partner.

  • HR Managers:  This event has been developed for individuals who work as Human Resource managers and leaders

About the facilitator:

  Zakeana Reid, CHRP is the Senior Director, Western Canada for CCDI. During her career, Zakeana has had the opportunity to influence and design programs within Recruitment and Training to promote and encourage diversity within the companies as well as manage the Employment Equity Programs and Plans. Zakeana brings over 7 years of work experience in the areas of Equity and Diversity, from performing annual LEEP audits to analyzing data and finally creating programs for companies embracing diversity and inclusion. In 2011, she proudly received Morrison Hershfield’s honourable mention award for Best Workplace for Diversity, presented by Alberta Venture’s Alberta’s Best Workplaces.
