Diversity on a dime – Kitchener-Waterloo

Your budget has been slashed, the economy is in a downturn, you’ve had a change in staff – any of these things can derail your D&I initiatives. What can you do?

This session will focus on how you can keep the momentum going without costing your organization any hard dollars – in other words, how to do things on the cheap.

We will share best practices in:

  • Creating multiple champions
  • Leveraging ERGs & Diversity Councils
  • Events and initiatives
  • Learning and development

Guided discussions are facilitated to analyze a specific challenge participants are facing within their organizations. Participants at similar levels in their diversity journey are placed in groups to share experiences and lessons learned. This exchange helps participants to share knowledge of how to develop a flourishing diversity strategy on a fixed budget.

Participants will walk away with practical tools to implement inside your organizations to help you keep the momentum going.
