Shereen Hayat is the owner of Hayat HR, a career consultancy offering holistic career management solutions to organizations that are focused on equipping leaders and Executives with the tools to make work, work. As a Career Professional and Executive Coach, her goal is to remove barriers while helping to unleash potential in those who are at the heart of an organization’s success.
Prior to launching her business, Shereen’s corporate experience spans over 10 years including a background rooted in leadership, training, professional development and Human Resources functions. With a vision to leading teams and impacting business objectives within large global organizations and also within a not-for-profit organization, she is able to lend her vast and diverse experience to achieve these results seamlessly and effectively.
As the daughter of a Pakistani immigrant doctor who first called Canada home in the early ‘90s, Shereen appreciates first-hand the shift in cross-cultural diversity awareness and holds a deep value for continued cultural and individual diversity conversations within the workplace.
Her experiential learning is supported by her educational background, which includes her Certification in Human Resources Management through Ryerson University and her Post-Graduate Executive Coaching Certification (in progress) through Royal Roads University.
Shereen is an active networker and member of various professional organizations, including Career Professionals of Canada, Human Resources Professionals Association, Institute of Performance and Learning and the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade. She is a strong proponent of community partnership, and has most recently offered her skills in a volunteer capacity to the Heart & Stroke Foundation and Engineers without Borders Canada.
