Professional designation

The lack of national standards for diversity and inclusion professionals in Canada makes it challenging for employers and employees to demonstrate the value added by diversity and inclusion professionals to their organizations. Over the past year, a national 10-person Advisory Committee of diversity professionals in consultation with more than 200 diversity and inclusion professionals across Canada has defined the key competencies for this quickly growing area of specialization. CCDI is now working to develop a robust certification infrastructure.

Expect to see the Canadian Certified Inclusion Practitioner (CCIP)™ designation roll out January 2017.
