Talking ASL

October marks National Disability Employment Awareness Month (www.ndeam.ca). As part of that, CCDI has created a new free resource to raise awareness about American Sign Language (ASL) and Quebec Sign Language (LSQ) called TalkingASL.ca and ParlantLSQ.ca.

TalkingASL is a resource portal – a place where anyone can find resources and information related to ASL and LSQ, specifically in Canada. We want to encourage people to find out more and learn to communicate with their fellow Canadians who are deaf or hard of hearing. This unique resource does not exist anywhere else and we’re proud to be launching it on October 1.

We invite you to visit TalkingASL.ca and ParlantLSQ.ca. and share this resource with your friends, family and colleagues.

TalkingASL.ca and ParlantLSQ.ca are currently undergoing maintenance and will be back up again as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
