Operationalizing DEI: Identifying challenges and finding a way forward 

DEI professionals strive to create change in organizations, but they face obstacles in implementing these solutions, and their efforts often do not yield desired outcomes. In an ever-changing landscape, DEI professionals benefit from convening to exchange ideas and practical strategies. In this interactive community of practice event, we will facilitate discussions around developing and implementing DEI initiatives, identifying challenges DEI practitioners face, and collaborating to find a way forward. 

Learning objectives

Participants will:

  • Share and compare experiences of DEI efforts with peers.
  • Identify prevalent challenges DEI professionals face in developing and implementing DEI initiatives.
  • Develop potential solutions to address identified obstacles and advance individual organizations’ DEI efforts.

Who should attend?

This session is open to anyone involved in DEI efforts at their organization. This includes DEI professionals, DEI council members, ERG members, leaders, and DEI champions.
