Maki Ishida is a learning professional committed to creating inclusive and engaging learning experiences, with a passion for supporting individuals in their personal and professional growth.

Before joining the CCDI, Maki contributed to the delivery of educational programs in the cultural and higher education sectors and worked as an eLearning instructional designer in the corporate sector. She also has experience as a translator and interpreter, facilitating communication across languages and cultures.

Maki recently completed an MA in Educational Technology at Concordia University. She also holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Studies from the University of Toronto and an MA in Arts and Cultural Management from King’s College London.

Originally from Japan, Maki moved to Canada in 2006 and now calls Montreal home. Outside of work, she enjoys learning languages, traveling, singing, and spending time in nature. She values connecting with others and drawing inspiration from their diverse experiences and perspectives, which enrich both her work and personal life.
