Moe Hamandi is a considered Lebanese Canadian leader and influencer in the fields of diversity and inclusion. He is the first Lebanese member and Vice president of Montreal Pride board. He is a business developer and partner relationship professional with a career spanning 11 years in the financial services, hospitality, partner relationships, research, training, marketing, communications, and international NGOs.
Moe began his career as a brand ambassador with Mosaic solutions – an integrated marketing company whose people create live experiences and public relationships and offering associate trainings, B2B Conferences, Media Planning, Social Media Management, brand consulting services to a number of leading international organizations including Google, Coca Cola, Samsung, Microsoft.
He crossed over to the customer experience and sales side with Desjardins and National Bank where he had the opportunity to discover the best practices for call center management and customer experience.
As a business development manager at Fairmont, the Queen Elizabeth hotel in Montreal, he worked on many high-level projects to increase sales, relationships, and guest experience by building strong relations with chambers of commerce, associations, international companies in different industries, and non-profits.
Initiator of the first Lebanese Canadian LGBTQI2S+ Panel in 2019, Moe is a creator of bridges between different Middle Eastern communities and Canadian one. He holds a master’s degree in economics from the Montreal University. His research focuses on the links between economics, development, socio-cultural identities, and religious beliefs. Creators of several radio programs and podcasts on social medias, he officially launched the first LGBTQI2S+ chronicle addressing the issues of diversity in Quebec. He is the author of several articles that focus on the importance of Pride, Coming Out, Motivation and Positivism.
His passions include singing, travelling, meeting new people, discovering new experiences, and cooking.
