Zakeana Reid joined CCDI first as an Individual Practitioner, then, through the organization at which she was working, one of our Founding Partners. Accepting a permanent role with CCDI in 2016, she opened the Calgary office and has been instrumental in developing deeper relationships with Employer Partners and clients throughout western Canada.
Zakeana has an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens University and holds the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation. Zakeana brings over ten years of work experience in the areas of equity and diversity, from performing annual LEEP audits to analyzing data and finally creating programs for companies embracing diversity and inclusion. Zakeana regularly contributes to CCDI blog posts and articles in HR Professional magazine and has participated as a speaker at DisruptHR YYC.
With her background in Human Resources, Learning, and Employment Equity, Zakeana has had the opportunity to influence and design recruitment and training programs to promote and encourage diversity within CCDI Employer Partners.
Zakeana has been able to address a variety of barriers to employment and advancement for multiple organizations, creating integrated and sustainable solutions to promote diversity and increase inclusion.
