Assistant, Marketing and Communications

Arish Syed is a Marketing and Communications Assistant at CCDI, where she helps out the Marketing Department with tasks relevant to promotional campaigns, copywriting, and more.

Arish is a second-year student at the University of Guelph pursuing a Marketing Management, Commerce Degree. She has held a number of student leadership roles on campus, including Student Relations and Academics Associate, where she revamped the Commerce Mentorship Program and initiated internal and external mental wellness workshops.

Throughout her education and career, Arish developed a keen interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion. She believes that creating a more inclusive and equitable workplace is not only the right thing to do but also leads to better outcomes for individuals and the organization as a whole. She is passionate about bringing DEI into the workplace and breaking down the unconscious bias barriers that divide individuals.

In addition to her professional work, Arish enjoys spending time with loved ones, trying new foods, and reading.
