Level/Audience: HR & D&I 2.0
Presentation by: Loreli Buenaventura
Episodic disabilities are conditions with periods of good health interrupted by periods of illness or disability. With more and more people living with episodic disabilities – things like cancer, lupus, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, and HIV/AIDS – having to deal with episodic disabilities in the workplace is a simple inevitability. But how can an employer prepare for them?
Join us for this scenario-based presentation with some tips and tricks about what an episodic disability really is, and what employers can do to ensure their workplaces are inclusive of people living with episodic disability.
