Associate
Inez Ashworth has always had a passion for people and making a difference since her teens. She has worked as an inclusion, diversity and equity consultant/trainer for over 10 years. She has experience in conducting audits as well as developing policies and programming for organizations to create strategies for anti-racism, gender equity and Inclusive workplaces. She has also developed and facilitated workshops in all areas of inclusion, diversity and equity. Inez has recently worked with several indigenous communities to understand training and development needs to create programing and training. She sits on several IDE committees to share best practices with other organizations in advancing IDE within workplaces across Canada and the US.
Inez is a strong advocate and mentor for the next generation and is part of the several equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) councils and committees to continue to progress in creating equitable, diverse, and inclusive environments for students and employees. She also mentors’ students as part of the Harry G. Schaefer Mentorship Program at Mount Royal for minority students at risk of dropping out of university.
She is an active board member for Pride at Work Canada and provides dialogue, education and thought leadership, helping employers build workplaces that celebrate all employees. She Immigrated from England in 2009 and became a Canadian citizen in 2017.
