On behalf of the CCDI Board of Directors, I share the news that Anne-Marie Pham will be transitioning from her role as CEO of CCDI into a new leadership position within the organization, where she will continue to have meaningful impact on CCDI as well as our valued Employer Partners and the communities we are part of across Canada.

Anne-Marie has been a trusted voice and leader for inclusion for 8 years at CCDI and for over 25 years throughout Canada. Not only have her expertise and ability to shift the discussion about inclusion impacted the growth and success of CCDI, but they have also shifted the culture of Canadian workplaces and communities for the better. Her stellar leadership as CEO has helped the organization and the profession navigate some of the most challenging times facing inclusion across the country and around the world.

The Board of Directors recognizes these are challenging times for anyone committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming workplace and community. This is also a time of opportunity for us all to strengthen our collective resolve, to come together, and to lead this country forward. The CCDI Board is firmly and deeply committed to the continued growth and success of CCDI, and all its employees and Employer Partners well into the future.

To that end, the Board of Directors has launched a CEO Search and Selection committee and have engaged an external firm, Milimaka Miles, to support our efforts to recruit for a new CEO to continue to complement and work with CCDI’s senior leadership, the entire CCDI team, and with the Board. We expect this process will take a few months with a target of naming a new CEO in time for the next AGM in June 2025. In the meantime, Anne-Marie will continue in her current capacity until a new CEO is appointed and to support in the transition.

Interested parties can learn more about the CEO position here.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we thank Anne-Marie for her countless contributions and are excited to continue to work with her in her new capacity.

Sincerely,
Marni Panas
Chair, CCDI Board of Directors
