Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion stands in solidarity with the Asian community in Canada and throughout North America. We are outraged by the recent increase in violence and the insidious dog whistles that triggered the tragic killings seen in Atlanta last week.
We cannot ignore these threats, intimidation, assaults, injuries, and deaths fueled by anti-Asian discrimination or the fact that in the past year especially, Asians and those of Asian descent have been the victims of increased racism and xenophobia.
We will always stand up to bullying and stand up for the uplift and amplification of the voices of those who are affected by any form of racism and xenophobia.
