By registering for the CCDI UnConference – DéConférence CCDI, you acknowledge and agree to the Terms and conditions outlined below. Registration for the event constitutes your formal acceptance of these Terms and conditions.
Virtual event access
Your registration provides you with access to the two-day virtual 2025 CCDI UnConference – DéConférence CCDI event. This includes participation in the two-day virtual conference and all sessions, and activities associated with the event. All other costs incurred, including but not limited to internet connectivity or device usage, are solely your responsibility.
International users
CCDI UnConference - DéConférence CCDI is hosted on the Zoom Events platform and organized by CCDI teams in Canada. International attendees are responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and accessing the event via compatible devices and software. Right to modify event details
CCDI reserves the right to change any and all aspects of 2025 CCDI UnConference - DéConférence CCDI, including, but not limited to, the event name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time, at its sole discretion.
Limitations on use
By registering for CCDI UnConference - DéConférence CCDI you agree not to sell, trade, transfer, or share your access link and/or code, without prior written consent from CCDI. By registering for a paid CCDI UnConference - DéConférence CCDI ticket, you agree not to share, sell or trade your access. Violations of this policy may result in immediate cancellation of your access without a refund.

CCDI reserves the right to remove participants who violate this Code of Conduct, at its sole discretion, to ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all. Reports of inappropriate behavior should be directed to CCDI staff immediately. Thank you for contributing to a respectful, collaborative, and enriching experience.
Payment terms
Registration fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Fees are non-refundable, except under limited circumstances outlined below. Registration grants access only to the named registrant and is non-transferable unless specifically approved by CCDI. Participants will pay a fee for the Early Bird Pass or General Pass that includes ticketing fees charged by Eventbrite. The amount and payment terms are outlined during the checkout process and include any applicable discounts.
Promotional codes for CCDI Employer Partners
CCDI Employer Partners with an active agreement are eligible to receive a promotional code granting a limited number of complimentary passes to CCDI UnConference. To maintain eligibility for this discount, the CCDI Employer Partner agreement must be active as of March 1, 2025. CCDI Employer Partners who register for CCDI UnConference using the promotional code and do not have an active agreement on March 1, 2025 will be invoiced for the full cost of a General pass.
Refund policy
All sales are final, and registration fees are non-refundable. Exceptions may apply for errors in applying promotional codes or extenuating circumstances at CCDI’s sole discretion. Requests for refunds or transfers must be submitted in writing to CCDI by 12:00 p.m. ET on the day before the event.
Taxes
Registration fees are not subject to HST/GST and include the CCDI UnConference pass and ticketing fees from Eventbrite.

Force majeure
CCDI shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations related to the CCDI UnConference if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. These circumstances may include, but are not limited to acts of God, strikes, labor disputes, government requisitions, power outage, hosting platform disruptions, restrictions or war or apparent act of war, terrorism, disaster, civil disorder, epidemic or pandemic, curtailment or restriction on transportation facilities, or any other comparable calamity, casualty or condition (collectively referred as “force majeure”).
In the event of force majeure, CCDI reserves the right to modify or cancel the event without liability. Registration fees may be refunded or credited at CCDI’s sole discretion.
For further clarity, CCDI assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from substitutions, alterations, cancellations or postponements of CCDI UnConference, or any associated events due to force majeure circumstances.

CCDI is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential claims, losses, or damages arising from participation in CCDI UnConference - DéConférence CCDI, including but not limited to technical issues or access disruptions.
All content and materials provided as part of the 2025 CCDI UnConference are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. This includes, but is not limited to, materials distributed during sessions, promotional content, and recordings of the event (where applicable).
Attendees and participants are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, or use any materials provided during the CCDI UnConference, including speaker content, without explicit permission from CCDI or the respective content owner. Unauthorized use of such content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
These Terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. By participating in the CCDI UnConference, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario for any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms and conditions or your participation in the event.
